About the Scania G Series
The G Series was added in September 2007 to sit between the P and the R, and it carried over into the new generation. The cab is taller than a P and shorter than an R, which makes it the usual choice for operators who want a proper sleeper without the height or the cost of a long-haul cab. It is very common on UK tipper, bulk and general haulage work.

What to check before you order
- G Series cabs share a lot of structure with the R of the same generation, but roof panels and interior height parts are specific to the G.
- Most UK G Series run the DC09 or the lower-output DC13. V8 fitment is rare on this cab.
- On construction chassis, check whether the truck is an XT before ordering bumpers, steps or towing gear, as the XT front end is different.
