What we collect

  • Enquiry details: your name, email address, phone number, company name and the message you send us, plus the part your enquiry relates to.
  • Usage data: anonymous, aggregated analytics about how pages are used, collected through Vercel Analytics. This does not identify you and does not use tracking cookies.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details to answer your question, quote for a part, arrange delivery and keep a record of the transaction. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our products, and performance of a contract where you go on to buy from us.

We use analytics data to understand which parts of the catalogue people look for, so we can improve the site. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating and improving our website.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the suppliers who help us run the business: our website and database hosting providers, our email provider, and the carriers who deliver your parts. Each acts on our instructions under a contract.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Records relating to a sale are kept for six years to meet accounting and warranty obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Email sales@nexgenparts.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cookies are used only where they are strictly necessary, for example to keep an administrator signed in to the private stock management area.
